MOIRA CONLON, PRINCIPAL
Over her 20 year career, Moira has provided strategic counsel to managements, Boards and communications teams of over 100 public and private companies in a variety of industries, including business services, consumer, traditional and renewable energies, engineering & construction services, financial services, healthcare, technology, and telecom. Moira has led numerous investor relations programs, assisting clients with valuation issues, corporate positioning and message development, earnings communication, investor presentations, guidance, disclosure, investor and analyst targeting, financial media outreach, analyst days, annual reports and board presentations. Moira has advised numerous companies on transactions including initial public offerings, spin-offs, divestitures and mergers and acquisitions. She has also provided communications counsel to companies facing a wide variety of crises including significant earnings disappointments, options backdating, activist shareholders, employee lay-offs, management transitions and litigation. Prior to founding Financial Profiles, Moira was a managing director at The Abernathy MacGregor Group, a leading financial PR firm specializing in transaction communications, crisis communications and investor relations. Previously, Moira was executive vice president of Financial Relations Board, where she directed the agency’s West Coast investor relations practice. Moira began her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co., where she assisted banks and thrifts with equity, debt, money market and mortgage finance transactions. Moira has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute. JONATHAN DESTLER, PRINCIPAL
Jonathan Destler has over 15 years experience in investor relations, capital markets transactions and business development. Jon leads Financial Profiles’ Wall Street outreach activity and marketing strategies. He is directly involved in implementing investor and analyst outreach campaigns and arranging non-deal road shows for agency clients. He also plays a key role in working with Financial Profiles’ practitioners to develop buy- and sell-side targeting strategies. Throughout his career, Jon has built extensive relationships with institutional investors, analysts and investment bankers. Leveraging these relationships and his capital markets knowledge, he provides Financial Profiles’ clients access to new investor support, capital sources and real time market intelligence. Prior to founding Financial Profiles, Jon was a senior vice president at Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates, a leading national investor relations firm. Previously Jon was a vice president at Financial Relations Board, the investor relations practice of the Interpublic Group of Companies. Jon began his career as founder and head of Destler Services, a New York-based consulting firm which assisted numerous emerging growth companies with investor relations and capital raises. KRISTEN MCNALLY, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Kristen has spent her career in investor relations and corporate communications. Throughout the past decade of work with several leading national agencies, Kristen has counseled numerous executive management teams on a wide range of corporate and investor relations issues. She has substantial experience in strategic program planning and management, corporate message development and positioning, initial public offerings and transactions, quarterly earnings and financial communications, non-financial news flow, investor presentations, speeches and scripts, annual reports, shareholder and analyst relations, and employee communications. Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Kristen worked as an independent agency consultant for several years. Previously she was a Vice President of Financial Relations Board and earlier, an executive with Morgen-Walke Associates. Kristen began her career as Director of Communications for Columbia Banking System, a Nasdaq-listed commercial bank. Kristen is a skilled writer and has authored marketing, corporate and web-oriented communications for a diverse range of companies and audiences. For the past three years, she has written marketing materials for Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Markets, promoting the firm’s annual IPO Transformation CEO Retreat and summarizing timely trends and practices in the new issues market. Kristen has significant experience working with renewable energy and alternative energy companies and is a founding member of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), a Washington DC-based non-profit organization. She is a graduate of the University of Washington. BRANDI FLOBERG, VICE PRESIDENT
Brandi has six years of agency investor relations experience. She has assisted clients with a broad range of investor relations support including message development, press releases, quarterly financial results communications, IR strategy and investor and analyst targeting campaigns. Brandi has worked with companies going through the IPO process and announcing M&A transactions as well as companies implementing traditional long-term communications programs. She has also crafted a variety of corporate communications materials for employees, customers and vendors. Brandi has significant expertise in healthcare and has worked with biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics and health care services companies. Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Brandi was a Senior Account Executive at Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates, a national investor relations agency. Previously Brandi was an editor at Business Wire, a global market leader in commercial news distribution. Brandi has a bachelor’s degree and a certificate in editing and publishing from California State University, Chico. JO ANN GODDARD NEWTON, SENIOR COUNSELOR
Jo Ann has over 20 years of investor relations and financial communications experience, including extensive work with companies in highly complex and regulated industries—energy and telecommunications. Jo Ann has a wealth of experience counseling senior management teams on critical strategic issues, developing and implementing investor relations programs, building and managing Wall Street relationships, corporate positioning, message development, and financial analysis. Jo Ann’s expertise includes crisis communications, debt holder relations and retail investor communications. Most recently, Jo Ann was Vice President of Investor Relations and Shareholder Services at Edison International. During her tenure at Edison, Jo Ann successfully led the company’s investor relations effort through a major company repositioning following deregulation and through several crisis situations including the California energy crisis. Jo Ann built and led Edison International’s IR team and was involved in all aspects of the company’s investor relations strategy. Previously, Jo Ann was Director of Investor Relations at Pacific Telesis Group, where she was the company’s main Wall Street liaison. In this role, Jo Ann was responsible for formulating with management and communicating to the Street the Pacific Telesis story during a time of significant industry change and convergence. Prior to that Jo Ann held various finance and treasury positions at Bell Atlantic Corp, New Jersey Bell. Jo Ann graduated from Smith College with an A.B. degree in mathematics and from New York Law School with a J.D. Jo Ann is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute and the recipient of numerous Investor Relations industry awards. Jo Ann has served as a guest speaker at NIRI and at USC’s Annenberg School of Communications and has served as a Board member of various community service organizations, including The Academy of Business Leadership, the Los Angeles Women’s Foundation and the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Cancer Society. LISA MUELLER, COUNSELOR
Lisa has over 18 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and investments. Over her career, she has held positions as Director of Investor Relations with a number of public companies including Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES), and EMAK Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EMAK). Previously she spent several years with Financial Relations Board, a national investor relations agency, where she provided counsel to agency clients on stock marketability issues and conducted Wall Street outreach and meeting programs. Lisa has worked with companies across a wide variety of industries including technology, consumer and health care. Lisa began her career in the Private Client Services division of Oppenheimer & Co. Over the course of her career, Lisa has counseled many executive management teams on investor relations and corporate communications issues. She has significant experience helping companies develop and implement best practices investor relations programs. Lisa has helped a wide variety of companies evaluate valuation issues, develop and implement investor targeting and meeting programs, and conduct shareholder analysis, perception studies and competitive analysis. Lisa has developed various internal and external company communications materials including employee letters, conference call scripts, press releases, fact sheets and annual reports. She has also provided counsel to companies on crisis issues including proxy battles and exchange delistings. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
