MOIRA CONLON, PRINCIPAL
Over her 20 year career, Moira has provided strategic counsel to managements, boards and communications teams of over 100 public and private companies in a variety of industries, including business services, consumer, traditional and renewable energies, engineering & construction services, financial services, healthcare, technology, and telecom. Moira has led numerous investor relations programs, assisting clients with valuation issues, corporate positioning and message development, earnings communication, investor presentations, guidance, disclosure, investor and analyst targeting, financial media outreach, analyst days, annual reports and board presentations. Moira has advised numerous companies on transactions including initial public offerings, spin-offs, divestitures and mergers and acquisitions. She has also provided communications counsel to companies facing a wide variety of crises including significant earnings disappointments, options backdating, activist shareholders, employee lay-offs, management transitions and litigation. Prior to founding Financial Profiles, Moira was a managing director at The Abernathy MacGregor Group, a leading financial PR firm specializing in transaction communications, crisis communications and investor relations. Previously, Moira was executive vice president of Financial Relations Board, where she directed the agency’s West Coast investor relations practice. Moira began her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co., where she assisted banks and thrifts with equity, debt, money market and mortgage finance transactions. Moira has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute. JONATHAN DESTLER, PRINCIPAL
Jonathan Destler has over 15 years experience in investor relations, capital markets transactions and business development. Jon leads Financial Profiles’ Wall Street outreach activity and marketing strategies. He is directly involved in implementing investor and analyst outreach campaigns and arranging non-deal road shows for agency clients. He also plays a key role in working with Financial Profiles’ practitioners to develop buy- and sell-side targeting strategies. Throughout his career, Jon has built extensive relationships with institutional investors, analysts and investment bankers. Leveraging these relationships and his capital markets knowledge, he provides Financial Profiles’ clients access to new investor support, capital sources and real time market intelligence. Prior to founding Financial Profiles, Jon was a senior vice president at Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates, a leading national investor relations firm. Previously Jon was a vice president at Financial Relations Board, the investor relations practice of the Interpublic Group of Companies. Jon began his career as founder and head of Destler Services, a New York-based consulting firm which assisted numerous emerging growth companies with investor relations and capital raises. TONY ROSSI, CFA, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Tony has over 10 years of experience in investor relations and financial communications. Over the course of his career, he has counseled numerous companies and boards on a wide variety of investor relations issues such as stock buybacks, acquisitions, dividend policies, insider selling, guidance, valuation and messaging and positioning. Tony has written hundreds of annual reports, corporate profiles and fact sheets, management presentations, conference call scripts, and press releases. He has worked with companies in diverse industry sectors, including financial services, technology, energy and health care. Tony has been trained in cash flow return on investment (CFROI) valuation methodologies by Credit Suisse First Boston's Holt Advisor and the Applied Finance Group (AFG). These methodologies are utilized to help clients understand how the buy-side determines stock valuations and the key drivers that create or destroy shareholder value. Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Tony was Senior Vice President at Financial Relations Board, where he was responsible for managing numerous investor relations programs. In this role, Tony provided strategic counsel, conducted research and analysis and drafted a wide array of communications materials for clients. Previously Tony was Director of Marketing at Pacific Visions Communications, a national public relations firm. In this position, he managed all new business development efforts and developed marketing collateral, direct mail and presentation materials. Tony is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Tony is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and has a bachelor's degree in English. Joe has more than 25 years of investor relations and corporate communications experience, primarily in the media and entertainment industries. He has been recognized numerous times as one of the country's top Investor Relations Officers. In creating comprehensive IR programs for several publicly traded companies, Joe has been the principal contact to both the financial markets and the financial press on a wide range of communications issues and over $90 billion of transactions, including Disney's acquisition of Capital Cities/ABC and Vivendi's acquisition of Seagram Universal. Through every conceivable market condition, Joe has developed his company's growth/value message, counseled and scripted senior management for all investor communications and industry presentations and articulated the impact of mergers, acquisitions and business crises on near-term performance and outlook. In addition, Joe has extensive contacts among money managers and Wall Street security analysts, which have proved valuable in increasing research coverage and generating institutional investor interest. Most recently, Joe was Executive Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios. Prior to that, Joe was the first-ever IR officer at both Seagram Universal and Capital Cities/ABC. At Seagram Universal, he increased sell-side coverage to 20 analysts from 4 during his first year at the company. During Seagram Universal's transformation to a leading global entertainment company, Joe was the spokesperson for numerous key transactions, including the creation of the world's largest music company, Universal Music. At Capital Cities/ABC, Joe managed the strategic messaging for the acquisition of American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. and ESPN. Additionally, Joe was integrally involved in internal employee communications at all these companies. He has also acted as an independent communications advisor for several private companies. With more than 30 years of experience in communications and journalism, Steve provides corporate clients with strategic counsel on a wide variety of communications and public relations issues. He specializes in message development, media training and presentation coaching. He also provides counsel on general media relations, crisis, litigation support, issues management and financial communications. Steve has recently consulted with clients in health care, travel, biotechnology, non-profit, banking and financial services, real estate, consumer marketing, technology and automotive industries. Recent clients include Experian, Ancestry.com, American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Amgen, Procter & Gamble, UC Irvine Medical Center, Wal-Mart, and Align Technologies. Former managing director/senior vice president at Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton in Los Angeles, Steve also held senior corporate communications positions at Amgen, where he was director of public relations, and as Vice President, Corporate Communications, Great Western Financial Corporation,. Steve began his journalism career at the Contra Costa Times in Walnut Creek, California, where he was assistant city editor and business editor. Donni was one of the founding partners of Financial Relations Board, which was one of the nation's largest investor relations firms. During her tenure at FRB, Donni developed and led the firm's Market Intelligence Department, a direct sales force, unparalleled in the investor relations industry. She has three decades of relationship building with professional investors, including buy and sell-side analysts, portfolio managers and investment bankers. Donni has worked across many industries and across the corporate lifecycle from newly public to Fortune 500 companies. Some of her engagements include: CDW, Cooper Tire & Rubber, ServiceMaster, Devon Energy, Entergy, Adobe, EMC, BEA, Clarcor, Allstate, Gallagher, Castle Metals, VF Group, Interpublic Group. Tricia has over 10 years of agency investor relations experience. Over her career, she has provided counsel and program implementation to clients on a broad range of investor relations initiatives including analyst and investor targeting strategies, outreach campaigns, non-deal roadshows, perception studies and media relations programs. Tricia has worked extensively with small and mid-cap institutional investors and sell-side analysts. She has well established relationships with portfolio managers and analysts at numerous leading Wall Street firms. Most recently, Tricia was a Director with Financial Relations Board, where she led the firm's West Coast investor targeting and meeting efforts. Previously she served as the Financial Assistant to the Senior Economic Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Education in Washington, D.C., where she analyzed education data sets, attended and lobbied at congressional education hearings and developed statistical reports for the Office of the President. Tricia began her career working on the Clinton/Gore '96 reelection campaign. Tricia has substantial experience working with companies in the healthcare, alternative energy, financial services, engineering & construction, business services and technology. John has over 20 years of agency and in-house investor relations, public and media relations experience. He has assisted numerous companies in developing and implementing investor relations and public relations strategies and campaigns, developing business plans and PowerPoint presentations, crafting news releases, corporate profiles, web content and annual reports. John held senior corporate communication roles at publicly traded companies including Loudeye Technologies and Syncronys Softcorp, as well as venture capital firms Digital Media Campus and Intellect Capital. Previously, he consulted a variety of emerging-growth companies, servicing for five years at two of the world's most respected financial public relations firms, the Financial Relations Board and Sitrick and Company. Rebecca Mack has more than 20 years of investor relations, public relations, and marketing experience. Over the course of her career she has worked with dozens of publicly traded companies spanning a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology and aerospace and defense. Rebecca has substantial experience in corporate positioning and message development, quarterly earnings communication, investor presentations, annual reports, perception studies, analyst days and media relations. She has also assisted numerous clients with transaction and crisis communications. Rebecca specializes in new media tools including blogging, microblogging, and social network community building. Rebecca has held positions with leading investor relations and public relations agencies including Fleishman-Hillard and Financial Relations Board. Lisa has over 18 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and investments. Over her career, she has held positions as Director of Investor Relations with a number of public companies including Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES), and EMAK Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EMAK). Previously she spent several years with Financial Relations Board, a national investor relations agency, where she provided counsel to agency clients on stock marketability issues and conducted Wall Street outreach and meeting programs. Lisa has worked with companies across a wide variety of industries including technology, consumer and health care. Lisa began her career in the Private Client Services division of Oppenheimer & Co. Over the course of her career, Lisa has counseled many executive management teams on investor relations and corporate communications issues. She has significant experience helping companies develop and implement best practices investor relations programs. Lisa has helped a wide variety of companies evaluate valuation issues, develop and implement investor targeting and meeting programs, and conduct shareholder analysis, perception studies and competitive analysis.
